What does Jessica Do?
Jessica McGovern is an international multi-award-winning photographer who works from either her studio or out and about on location to capture moments and memories before transforming them into indivdual works of art, to be treasured for years to come.
She offers either Fine Art style or Lifestyle style work. Adept in both styles of work, you can rest assured that the images will be technically perfect, absolutely jaw-dropping and simply gorgeous.

Fine Art
Fine Art as a style of photography is difficult to put into words. It suggests that the photograph is merely a starting point of artistic expression and usually the photographer will be working to portray a specific idea, concept or message in the work. It is definitely “art”.
-
Lifestyle
Lifestyle photography is usually, but not always, lighter, brighter and more lightly retouched than Fine Art work. It allows for more natural scenes to exist and aims to just capture the moment that unfolds in front of the camera. Usually, these images are perfect for families.

Absolutely. With your permission, there is no reason why images captured at your portrait session cannot be entered into, and win, photographic awards.
In fact, Jess’s two most successful images were both taken at portrait sessions for clients.
-
Jessica has her own purpose-built photographic studio literally next door to her home on the main street in a small quiet village near South Cave, East Yorkshire, with secure parking and easy access. For dogs, humans and similar subjects, this is where you will probably be headed.
For our equine friends, the situation is different. Usually, Jessica will travel to you unless you do not have an indoor arena, dark barn or similar on site. We can hire spaces as needed, so don’t worry - we can work it out.
-
Realistically speaking, the portrait session collections available have a great deal of value packed inside them and past clients have never said or suggested what Jessica offers is overpriced. In fact, most come back time and time again for more photographs!
Our Portrait Collections, including investment values, can be seen on the Sessions page. Full product guides can be requested prior to booking in and most clients tend to invest between £500 and £2000 on their photographic session and artwork afterwards.
